Sedge warbler is a summer visitor in Eurasia, and winters in Africa, south of the Sahara Desert.
A good place to spot this little bird in summer is near a reed bed or a damp wetland, particularly near dawn and dusk when sedge warblers are most active. Sedge warbler is a great mimic, the male sedge warbler introduces random phrases into its repertoire, never singing the same song twice. He attracts more mates the more phrases his song has.
